Nikki at the Crafty Kitten has given me lots of advice about how to use Fimo polymer clay for a project that I had (a model railway layout). She has even spent time showing me how to make models for the layout.
It was a nice surprise to find her when she opened in the local town as I had spoken to other craft shops who although they sold the raw materials didn't seem to know how to use it.
One of these days I plan on buying one of her models that she makes, I have my eye on a fairy door that she has in her shop window but although it's not expensive I need to be able to justify the money.
I've edited this review as it asked me for additional details about parking (don't know why) so There is a large free public car park at Glasdir, the local business information centre, which is about 100-150 yards from Nikki's shop. I always park here rather than try for the parking spaces in the market square as it's much easier to find a space.
Craft shop specialising in Fimo polymer clay and hand made models. Commissions for special occasions accepted.

Established in 2010.
The business truly started in 2010, however I have been using this medium for over 25 years on and off after being brought a pack by a relative.
What started out as gifts being made for family and friends has now taken off and I ship my models all around the world.
I am a 30-something woman living in the beautiful Conwy Valley, just a stones throw from the wonderful Mt Snowdon.
I have always had a passion for all things mythical, and all things craft, and so I decided to combine the two, and start my business "The Crafty Kitten" where I sell raw materials and unique hand-made gifts at affordable prices, and share my knowledge and expertise with the people who want to learn.
