Strange little place near the east end of Victoria park and within a stone's throw from the Olympic stadium, this cool little cafe is a great little find. Breakfast was very nice, home-made ketchup with my cooked breakfast and a great selection of pastries.
The decor is all exposed brickwork with holes smashed through between rooms and recycled furniture. There are some anti-Olympic pieces of art on the wall too.
The area would be an industrial estate were it not for the massive block of canal side flats down the street. Go for a walk along the canal and just before you reach the Olympic park walk over the bridge with rings around it and you'll be there kinda.
Noisy anti social people who sell very expensive over priced food.
Would not recommend.
This was a random find, and I mean random. Have a day out in Hackney Wick, look at grafitti and art galleries, wander over a canal and come across one of the better cafes I have been to in a while.
A perfect flat white, a brownie from heaven and a table outside in the sun.
Apparently the food is great as well, I will be going.
