The Cornmill Shopping centre has a decent range of shops for its size - there's Primark, a small Topshop, New Look etc - theres also some cafes and small specialist shops.
There are also some individual stalls dotted around that sell jewellery, kids toys etc, so there something there for everyone.
The centre is always tidy and clean as well.
The Cornmill Shopping centre is located right in the centre of Darlington. It has a wide range of shops including big names such as Woolworths, Dorethy Perkins, Adams, HMV, WH Smiths and Primark. It also has some more unusal places such as a chinese herb shop and some individual stalls.
It has a car park over the road from the shopping centre, and the parking is reasonabl priced.
The Cornmill Shopping Centre is located in the middle of Darlington Town Centre. Very easy to find and they also have a large car park, which is very handy.
They have a wide selection of shops including, W H Smith, Woolworths, HMV, Primark, Dorothy Perkins and Julian Graves.
It has 2 floors full of shops, with an escalator and lifts for people who don't want to use the stairs.
As it's right in the middle of town, it's very handy if you need to go somewhere that isn't in the Cornmill.
they also have cafes and takeaway food for those who need a pick me up while walking around!
The Cornmill Centre has a good range of shops and is bang in the centre of Darlington with car parks close by. My favourite shops include a good size Primark, New Look, HMV, Dorothy Perkins and Top Shop. There are also a few bargain book stores, Billy Bunters cafe and there are a few stall dotted along the work way with hand made good and sweets.
A good choice for shopping when the weather is not great
An easy place to find, head for the centre of town and there it is. When it was first built people were very suspiscious of this centre but it has proved to be popular. A mixture of shops means that you can buy quite a bit undercover from books to clothes and now that Tesco has arrived even food. Is about to have a new multi million pound facelift which will help make it a centre of Darlington life for years to come.
The Cornmill came at the wrong time for Darlington, it has never been full and a strange design made it less of an adventure than many other shopping malls. It has suffered by not having a big name on board with only W H Smith really being a main line shop. it does how ever have some good food points , with sandwiches made as you wait to a lovely relaxed coffee bar to a self service cafe. Greggs being a haven for students who take over that area at lunchtime. Even now its seems to be a pale copy as the christmas tree occupies the space near the escalators and poor Santa no longer has his own grotto. The credit crunch has been hitting Darlington for some time now and the Cornmill shows this better than most.
The Cornmill shopping centre offers a good range of shopping over 2 floors for a town. Mainly a place for clothes shopping from Primark, to Topshop to sports shops. There are also 2 cafes and a Greggs so you are never too far from refreshments. A good mix of other shops including HMV, Au Natural home and Body Shop. It is brilliantly located right in the centre of the town. Always good for a stroll around whether you are window shopping or on a spending spree!
the Cornmill Shopping centre is located in the heart of darlingtons town centre and has 2 floors of shops. There are shops ranging from clothes shops, sports shops, cafe's and household shops.
