They have recently added an extension to this pub, but it still has the traditional feel. It's been decorated really nicely and has a lovely open fire in winter.
The menu isn't massive but everything on it is good. The bread rolls are obviously freshly baked on site and are delicious.
The fish and chips with mushy peas is really good as is the sausage and mash.
The soup is always good too.
It's quite pricey but worth it. The chef also does guinea pig nights where you can go and try out new food for a cheaper price and then review - these are very popular so its worth booking in advabnce.
