This is a great value, family pub which perfectly caters for the local community. There are some great offers on food, and the kids are well catered for too. The food is pretty standard pub grub, but it is done reasonably well, and you'll leave feeling that you've got good value for money.
The kids love going out to the pub, and as it's situated right in the heart of the community, it's easy enough to walk to from anywhere in the north part of Bradley Stoke. It shows most of the big sporting events, so if you're planning a meal out with the family, check to make sure there's nothing major going on, or it could be a bit too rowdy for you.
The best thing about the Bradley Stoke is that it does the job when you really need a bit of a chunky hangover lunch. It only opens at midday, several times I've been waiting for it to open so that it can help be get over the night before.
In the evenings though it is a bit too much of a Sports Pub for my liking, and gets a bit rowdy. I prefer the generally quieter Three Brooks, about five minutes' walk from the Bradley Stoke. The Bradley Stoke could also benefit from serving some better beers.
The pub welcomes familys. Has nice food with some good offers through out weekdays. It has quite a nice sized beer garden to.
this is great pub which does a fantastic sunday lunch its quite spacious and always seems clean and well organised i would recommend this pub to anyone who fancys a quiet lunch or to watch the football which this pub does brilliantly.
