The Abbey Espresso Bar and Café

Wonderful vibe...staff was fantastic! I ordered a pannini and realized it wasn't what I expected, they remade it post quick! No questions...just made it right when the mistake was on me. Outstanding customer service, good treats, and hot coffee!

This is a cute little spot to grab a coffee and a small bite to eat! The staff is super friendly and ready to help you however they can. They offer live music at all different times too! This is a great spot to meet a friend to catch up, catch a game of chess, or have a small meeting. Give it a try the next time you're around!

I just get a plain latte when I go. They are always pleasant and quick with my drink. Love to support local coffee shops. Definitely recommend

Good craft coffee and teas. Friendly staff. They have a good grilled cheese sandwich.

This coffee shop is slightly out of my way, but worth the drive! I've had great drinks and breakfast items from them! The drive thru is convenient as well! I love the classic iced vanilla latte and they have a stellar one. My husband loves the breakfast sandwiches and I love the quiche!

This is a hidden gem. I work in a neighboring city and thought the nearest cafes with decent coffee and food were across the bridge on the Missouri side. I can't remember how I discovered The Abbey, but I've put all my coworkers on. I was first put under their spell by the Fig and Brie sandwich with a hot apple cider. I love when places throw in a side without telling you. So it was the sweetest surprise when I saw my sandwich came with kettle-cooked potato chips. This is one of the very few meals I've had during my time here in the St. Louis that was near perfectly satisfying. It gets pretty packed at lunch but not to the point where you're waiting in 6+ person-line.

Was treated for lunch here by a coworker. I live six blocks away and never noticed this place. We were on a time crunch so we took food to go.

Ordered the salad with grilled veggies. I expected something different; not really sure what. Salad was good; very flavorful and filling.

Second lunch visit our order was received quickly. We were able to have a leisurely lunch this time. Didn't feel rushed. My coworker ordered chicken salad. She said it was "okay".

Great BLT and iced mocha. Service is fast and friendly. When I'm on the go, I call in an order for pickup and it's always available when I arrive.

Really enjoy this venue!! Would like the summer hours would be more flexible but it is what it is!
