Our local Tesco, and so the one we use all the time. This is a Tesco Extra so it is VERY big. On two levels it sells clothes, toys, electricals, books, CDs, DVDs, computer games, stationary, sporting goods, and homewares, in addition to groceries.
My only complaint is that the toilets are outside the store so you have to leave if you need to go (frustrating when out shopping with the kids).
Possibly the best Tesco i have ever been to. I went up to MK for a 'day trip' and funnily enough this was the first place i went to. I thought our tesco was big. This is HUGE. A very good contender for biggest supermarket (although the romford one is now up there on the list too!)
They sell everything here, and i mean everything. They had chest of draws, sofas, wedding bits and bobs, house hold electricals etc. All befor ei knew tesco even sold all these (when they released that catalogue) It was better than argos - they had everything on show. If you couldnt find something you wanted here, you are hard to please. From Clothes to baby toys, and obviously food and drink!
Most staff are friendly and helpful - although some shop floor staff need an attitude re-think (as well as a wash :|) and its open 24 hours for all your needs! Fabulous!
This is a huge tescos, which offers everything you can think of, from food, homeware, clothes and computers.
It is all reasonably priced and good quality. There is also a tesco's café outside and a costa nearby.
There is plenty of free parking although I believe it is a crime hotspot so take all your valuables with you and do not leave them in sight.
There are also a number of other shops nearby, including boots, M&S and Mothercare.
This is a great place to do your week's shopping, but very big if you just wanted to pop in - make sure you know where what you want is!
This store is just too big for my liking. I find rather than having lots of choice it just has more of the same.
It is difficult to get someone to help if you need it as they all work on their own section and can sometimes be reluctant to find the person you need.
On the positive side if you can be bothered with the shop you will mostly find what you want is available unlike Wolverton branch.
The parking can be hit and miss as there are lots of other stores in this shopping complex. There are a number of disabled parking spaces available.
This is a very big tesco store selling absolutely everything you could possibly need, from food shopping, stationary, lotto, furniture and electicals like tv's, dvd players, console games ect are all sold upstairs, the staff are pretty friendly.
It gets confusing at times as to where to look for things in the store as things are getting moved around quiet a bit, like for example electricals used to be upstairs and i was looking for straighteners firstly i checked upstairs they weren't there so i searched the little electrical section down stairs and still no where to be seen, so i asked a member of staff who said they could be found by the shampoo and hair products, i was so annoyed.
Anyway this store is huge and has plenty of tills, they have recently taken away the 10 items in the basket checkouts but they have been replaced by self serve tills which is much better in my opinion the ques go down much quicker than if they still had the 10items or less.
It's too big! Somehow, you go there becasue it is big and yet you always queue and inevitably come out with stuff you didn't want. A crate of cans leaked al over an expensive handbag of mine once and they would only compensate me if I handed over my bag and a receipt for a new one. Poor service but probably the policy. No good.
Such a big supermarket, much like the hypermarkets you get in France. You can buy anything you would ever need here! As always with tesco some very competitive prices.
i have always considered the staff at tesco kingston milton keynes to be friendly and helpful until yesterday (thursday 20th september 2012). myself and my small dog who weighs 5 kilos were being terrorised by a man who shall remain nameless. i managed to call the police and the first policeman that arrived at the scene was sent over by the security guard at the time to arrest me even though myself and my dog were the ones being terrorised. my dog had got loose after he tried to kick her and was running around the car park on her own and the security guard told me to leave the premises at which i replied i need to find my dog and he said he didnt care and to just leave the premises. he had no concern for me or my dog. the fact that an armed response vehicle was sent to the scene after mentioning this mans name says it all. the security guard, in my opinion is thoroyghly unproffesional and out of his depth in his role. i will be making a complaint to the store manager and writing a letter to tesco head office!
