I regularly visit Hartlepool and this is a much better stop for a lunchtime salad than M&S and about half the price too!
Otherwise it's just another supermarket!
This Tesco has just had a face lift with extension built on the side to make it bigger.
There is plenty of parking spaces and a petrol station at this store.
When you first enter the store you have the cafe which sells drinks and hot and cold food there is plenty of tables but always seems to be very busy so you might have to wait for a table. Everytime i have eaten there it has been nice the breakfasts are yummy.
There is a huge toys and homeware section this is in the new extension so there is loads to choose from.
The clothing section is large to with many ladies, mens and childrens wear, but be warned get your other half to push the trolley and dont touch it till you have left the clothing section you get static shocks all the time off the floors and its horrible.
Then you enter the food section which always seems to be well stocked and in the beauty section there is a pharmacy.
There is plenty of tills so getting served is always quick
Oh and one last thing dont forget your club card
Staff smoking in car park. Surly staff. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. If there is a pricing mistake they practically throw the money at you with no apology. Queues at checkouts definitely not enough open at peak times. Good points plenty of fresh food reductions, good homeware department. I just purchased Denby mugs for £1.97 each!
