Simply a great modern Bistro offering simple, modern food at very affordable prices.
We had a bowl of delicious Irish stew and the pasta of the day from the special board which beat some of the local Italian places hands down.
Next time we're down from Belfast we'll be straight back to Taste.
After 10 days walking in the rain all over Northern Ireland and eating mostly horrible food, We found Taste. Taste sitting in downtown Enniskillen features incredible food and wine selections at a sensible price. Eating there made up for how awful the food had been and was going to be elsewhere. The Lamb shank was so tender and juicy that is bordered on having an intoxicating effect. The staff (owners, mostly) were hospitable and friendly, making the choices easy as the dishes were sophisticated.
This was a fantastic place to just stumble upon to have lunch. It was saturday lunchtime and quite busy but as soon as we arrived one of the very efficient staff found us a high table with two stools and we started to relax and take in the lovely decor and sumptous smells from the kitchen. We were not dissapointed as our food was devine especially the Irish stew. I would like to have tried more so I will be stopping off here on my next visit. The coffee was also great which is a real bonus in Ireland. The real Mc Coy !!
