Super delicious Taiwan food in UK. House noodle & spicy chili prawn rice is the best I recommend.

Woolwich consistently impresses me with its eateries.
Tai Tip (Chinese for BIG PLATE) is a solid stirfry carb joint and everything comes out blazingly hot (watch out especially if you get takeaway since the foil container is painful on knees!).
I got the house noodle, and it was enough food for almost two meals (again, BIG PLATE, you were warned). Lots of various meats, and not too oily or salty.
Will be back! Extensive seating area as well.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Louis U.San Diego, United States77211827730 Dec 2015
The only reason these guys get a 2 on the review is my friends kind of liked it... And I would have given it a 4 star but for the fact I got food poisoning off the beef and noodles. It was super oily... About 8 hours later and feeling nauseas - I finally violently threw up in my hotel toilet.
Today I feel like crap... And will miss out on a lot of the sights BC I am too beat up too much from feeling like crap.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Clive E.Marylebone, London2291923 Jan 2014First to Review
Tai Tip Mein a favourite of mine and the locals whom travel upto 5 miles away. I've traveled for half an hour to eat here as it's worth it. Always freshly cooked and hot, great portions and value for money is a serious note here. Take away service is equally as good and they can cater for specific Chinese preferences. Good for families, kids, adults and popular with local workers and near by gym members. And if you're a big eater order the extra rice portion, I DARE YOU

This is basically a no frills Chinese restaurant. The long tables and benches suggest this, though the food is good. The menu is comprised of your usual Chinese dishes (rice, noodles, black bean sauce, sweet and sour etc). Service is a bit slow if you are after a sit down meal and you may have to draw attention to your table before your order is taken. The take away service is much quicker.

extremley good value for money. although not the best of quality food. you get what you paid for, the decor inside is very nice and it brings a sense back of my previous travel. i had a singapore fried rice which was extremely delicious, topped with the battered calamari/squid. Delicious x

This is truly a 'bolt down' food venue. Helpings are huge and good value for money. Recently they have changed food ordering which is now done and paid with order at the counter. This probably stops people legging it, but it certainly speeds up the service.
