I got 11 of their cameras and an alien recorder which I've had for a couple of years.
I added two more cameras inc. lenses and housings (cost approx £400). They were quite happy to recommend what i needed, however when the equipment was set up it became evident that the lenses were not the correct ones for the job. I also had a problem with the housings whereby rain drops were obscuring the cameras vision.
I reported these and requested a refund for the housings as they were not fit for purpose which was denied. Okay I can live with this. I also asked for the lenses to be swapped out for more suitable ones (bearing in mind one lens was still brand new in the box and the other had been fitted to a camera for about one hour whilst setting up). This was also denied as I had not reported it within 14 days of receipt even though my installer could not fit for 4 weeks.
Piss pot company and I would not deal with them ever again. No customer service what so ever. They are just happy to take your money and wash there hands of you if there are any issues. I have spend over two and a half grand with this company and to be treated like this is a disgrace.
If I could give less than one star then I would.
I have had their four camera system for three years. Never any problems even in this current snow when the Sky dish had to be cleared before it would work.
Pictures locally via the TV or via the phone from around the world. Brilliant, total peace of mind!
I'm an Alarm engineer and after getting numerous mailings from System Q thought I'd give then a try.
I placed the order via the website got a confirmation, nothing more so two days later I rang up and they were checking my credentials (according to the bank they already took the payment).
Heard nothing for a further two days so again rang them up Yeah one of your cameras is out of stock (well it wasn't when I ordered it as they had 10 in stock but obviously had sold then in the mean time).
So I settled for a different camera. They guy on the phone said they'd be dispatched for delivery tomorrow. So the next day I waited and sure enough a parcel turned up with PART of my order (not the substituted camera).
Once again I telephoned System Q was placed on hold for 10 (odd) minutes and told it will be going out today and I'll receive it tomorrow. As I was working out of town my wife waited in for the parcel.
Now I hadn't bothered to check the original parcel Much to my mistake.
When I came to check both received parcels I found they had supplied the wrong power connectors and the bag of 10 BNC plugs only contained 9 BNC plug.
I tried ringing System Q only to be told they have a STRICT 24 hour notification window and I'd have to pay for either the replacement power connectors and BNG plug or return the order at my cost and be charged a re stocking fee
All in all I'm unimpressed with System Q and will continue to use other suppliers.
