When you come from a home that leaves you feeling nonjudgmental towards others, for any reason, you do not prejudge. This amazing and awesome person walked out on stage with all the confidence that she could muster and I just anticipated her talent, whatever that may be.

Because I am a true karaoke attention whore.. I am *not* inspired and made joyous by Susan Boyle's performance.. I am simply made *jealous!!!*
Damn!! If *only* everyone in that damn theatre were on their feet clappin' for *me!!* If *only* Simon were givin' up some of that grudging, hard-earned respect and praise for *my singing!!!* (sniff)..
However.. because I am also a semi-rational being.. who knows (intellectually) that the world does not revolve around me (all the time), that *sometimes* it revolves around someone else, and knows well enough to at least *recognize* and acknowledge when a being other than myself.. just did somethin' really, really awesome.. I guess I'd better give goddamn Susan Boyle her goddamn rightful five effin' stars or otherwise I will have surrendered my right to exist within normal society.
Sounds like this big adventure couldn't have happened to a nicer person..
