I have worked for this childcare agency for a year now and I believe they provide a great service. Supermums hires out nannies or babysitters for every occasion, to help out at weddings, for day time nurseries, to hotels or just to people's houses.
All of us are fully disclosure cheacked before we are even hired, we all have child experience and are given basic first aid knowlege.
I am not entirely sure how much they charge as I am sure I am only given some of the fee but if you are looking for someone responsible to look after your children this is the place to call!
I haven't worked for super mums but I have worked along side people who are a part of this agency in nursery's I have worked in. They are professional, hard working and Qualified.
I have worked for SuperMums for just over a year now, last year they were slow to pay but this year things have improved.
I haven't had too much work from them but I'm happy with that for now. I wouldn't rely on them for full time work or if you need work often.
I have seen problems in the past when they've sent girls to work in nurseries who didn't have great English and struggled to understand simple questions/instructions. Not great for communication with parents and children!
Supermums seems like a good choice of job..until you go for the interview. The flat used for Supermums is highly unprofessional, there are dogs running about and the atmosphere is definately not of a normal office.
When i went for my interview i handed over £20 for the disclosure check and was affirmed by the lady that job offers would soon come.
I am now writing 2 months after my original interview, i have had no job offers or e-mails from supermums. I dont think the company is professional or worthwhile.
