There are a few carboots in and around the cardiff area. But in my opinion this is the best and biggest. This can be a bad thing, as you cant a quick ply around checking out all the bargains.. it takes so long to get to the end that by thetime you get there some bargains are going to be gone! But i like to think that it is a good thing. I love carboots, and all the treasure that can be found. Here at this one there is such a diverse range of stuff. People form cardiff come to sell, people from sully and penarth, barry, all over So a ral mix of stuff is found. I also sold at this carboot a few times this year and had a great time. Did have the odd real hagler, getting stuff right, and not giving up until you give in, but thats to be expected at these things, and just stand your ground on a price you want for it is all i can say.
there is a £6 enterance fee for this one, and think thats pretty standard in cardiff. But that also intitled you to a cuppa in the sports hall so the ticket said, but i never tried this out, was too busy making money to leave the stall. There is plenty of parking for visitors, as you arrive, and also a large parking field to the side. On a realy busy day this sale can cover 4 sort of areas, small field like things. Its amazing.
It is located right by the sea, and what a view, in the glorious sun which was only a few sundays this year its brilliant. But on a horried day, the weather can come in from the sea, and be quite nasty. So take lots of tarps to cover up. I tried to get down there every sunday this summer, selling or not. And mot stimes came back with stuff that i went looking for,.. and more!!
if you love carboots, you'll love this one!

Sully car boot has got lovely views. A varied selection one guy was even selling a 19th century antique sword. My only criticism is that there are not enough snack stalls and only one coffee stall which charges Starbucks prices. I also missed buying my fresh fruit, veg and eggs as no stall selling these items.
