Subway is the place to go for a healthy lunch! The have a range of baguettes to choose from (italian being my fave) lots of meat and salad to put in your sandwich as well as their grills to warm it all up! They have lots of sauces to taste up the lovely food and also drinks, cookies etc to make a complete meal. It's satisfying knowing that you are eating healthy! and whats more is its delicious so how could it possibly be healthy! subway is quick food though and brilliant for a sneaky lunch!
Subway's a pretty good place to eat if you don't have loads of time, you don't have loads of money, but you just need to eat and want good tasting food!
I expect it's just as bad for you as any other fastfood to be honest, I think it's naive to think it's 'healthy' just because it's a sandwich and not a burger, because in a way, it's the same. Some meat in bread?
My only problem with it, and the same with all the other fast food places, is that it's not actually that cheap any more if you want a whole meal. No cheaper than buying a meal in the food court of Marks and Spencers or anything - so they should make it cheaper! And also, the people working in there so often get the order wrong. I don't know whether it's due to barriers in communication (their English not being great) or just their disinterest, but on too many occasions have I had to either eat something I don't really want - or explain to them that isn't what I ordered!
