Who would have imagined that a lush, tropical Butterfly sanctuary was in the heart of the cold-yet-historic birthplace of Shakespeare?

Just down the lane from the Swan's Nest Hotel, is the Butterfly Farm.  Ditch your coat & enter the warm, enclosed environment where thousands of Butterflies fly free & if you're lucky, one or three will land on your shoulder to say a little hello

Huge blues, tiny little whites, spotted yellows & all different colors & sizes of butterflies are here, just waiting to make friends

Lizards, fish & a whole insect city are also at your viewing pleasure

Tickets are good all day - we spent maybe a hour but was good to know we could come back & warm up
