This starbucks is right in the centre of Norwich so is ideal for stopping for a break when you have been shopping for the day. It is open early in the morning so good for picking up a coffee on your way in to work too.
A range of coffees like cappuchinos, lattes and espressos are available with flavoured coffees too like speciality Christmas coffees in the winter, or iced coffees in the summer.
They have really good hot chocolate and a range of tea too.
If you want something to eat they do a small range of sandwiches which you can have toasted and some cakes but coffee is really their main thing. Seating is upstairs, downstairs and outside and the place is kept reasonably clean and tidy.
Expensive, but good for an occasional treat!
Yumm, you can smell the delightful wafts of exotic coffee beans from accross the street, Buying from starbucks is always a delight although not so much on the pocket.
You are always greeted with people that are happy in their job, although i do belive this is fromthe sheer amount of caffiene they are inhailing on a daily basis.
They sell the most amazing Panini's and Cake, but beware of how pricey everything is in store & you'll be damned to find somewhere to sit! even with the seating upstairs Starbucks is always packed!
If you get in at the right time there are some lovely comfy leather sofas upstairs!
On a personal note the Vanilla Frappicino's are delicious!
yumstarbucks! Ideally situated on the main shopping route through Norwich City Centre, Starbucks is great for meeting friends, popping in for a lunchtime coffee on the run, or giving yourself a well earned break when shopping!
A full range of coffees and hot chocolates in varying sizes (which seem to me to be large to extra large, to extra extra large!) are available, with specials introduced according to the seasons. Their Gingerbread lattes are divine, and if you are watching the calories they will use skimmed milk for you in any of their drinks.
For those who want, soya milk and decaf coffee is also on offer without you feeling guilty that you are asking - nothing is too much trouble for these guys.
There is a small range of food - cakes, sandwiches and wraps, but really it is the coffee that does it for me every time!
Seating is inside or out, and of course the takeaway option is always available.
Starbucks also offer their coffee grounds free of charge to anyone who wants to recycle them for their garden!
On the busy corner before the main square you'll find one of the multiples of coffee branded chain dwelling in the city.
There's a small outside seating area to watch the world rush by or a some outward facing tall bench.
Upstairs is another area of seats.
I visit a lot when they had the coffee card to promote their fair trade coffee. This gave free Estima after 2pm.
If you take away any food items then you get a reduced rate.
Another Starbucks in Norwich. It's a very nice location in Haymarket and if the smokers haven't clouded the tables outside, a fabulous place to sit and watch the pedestrian traffic while drinking an overpriced and overroasted coffee. On the plus side, the BT Openzone wifi is free and there are plenty of power outlets.
Ok, so it's almost the 20th anniversary of Nevermind and it's easy for me to remember teenage angsty No Logo rage against Starbucks. On reflection, although I love the indie shops, like Franks or Mustard, for example, Starbucks is just so damn convenient and good with it. This branch has some lovely staff, who have obviously been trained well by the Starbucks drill sergeant but have retained their personality. I love coming here on the odd day off, on a morning, to sit outside and just people watch. Sometimes it even gives you a primetime view of the Norwich Puppet Man, for that trippy what's in this coffee feeling. It's also handily near the awesome Millenium Library, so it's so easy to get a great book and follow gravity down the hill towards a hot cup of whatever-takes-your-fancy.
A nice, comfortable cafe, with lots of window views so you can watch the hustle and bustle near the market. Teas, coffees hot chocolates! They also do some iced drinks that are refreshing during the summer. I love the portion sizes for the cakes Bit expensive though
Starbucks sells the best hot chocolates and cakes in town. Though they are slightly expensive, they are a real treat. Made in front of your eyes, it smells good as you walk in through the door. One thing that needs improving would be the amount of eat-in seats there are as there are not enough. But then again, the brilliance of Starbucks makes waiting for a seat worthwhile.
amazing array of coffees and cakes mmmm, quite pricey but we all deserve a treat now and again.chocolate cake is divine.
Hot chocolate in the late evening outside wrapped up warm is heaven, can also smoke outside at a table which is not always possible elsewhere. Plenty of selection and very well staffed. Skinny lattes are a must.
give me a caramel coffee anyday, i love starbucks however i recently found out they have quite a high calorie content, however still great as a now and again treat. very expensive
