Barista especially helpful with Starbucks Card after producing an excellent flat white and delivering it to my table - and this during a busy midday Saturday!. That's a five for service in my book. I'm not a fan of the oversized frothy milkshapes with a shot of coffee added but it's too tempting to throw the baby out with the leftover coffee from the venti cups. However, the better baristas do take care and if you order to drink in, it's all the better in a ceramic cup!! My fav for the time being is their flat whites - less milky than the cafe lates.
Quite simply, this is one of the worst starbucks in London, as you walk in the store, the smell of burnt coffee hits you.
I usually order an extra shot latte (double tall) and the coffee was more like a capaccino with the amount of foam they put on it, it took me a couple of visits to realise that if I ever go back I needed to order a "wet" latte (no foam).
The only reason this isn't a 1 star is the staff are fairly friendly and after the second visit they remembered my order.
I have to say - I was a bit shocked at how bad the service was at this Starbucks. It's right next to a major tube stop and much like me - I'm sure there have been plenty of people heading towards the British Museum who ducked in here on their way to the museum from the tube stop.
I could not believe how there were 6 - no exaggeration - 6 employees working behind the line - but only one was barista and one was taking orders and the lines out the door? come on. Really?
This is a good starbucks, but because of its location, its very busy (especially at lunchtime), but don't let this put you off. The coffee is great, as is the tea and hot chocolate. The food is decent, though I have had better.
The staff don't mind you using the bathroom without being a customer, but be warned, you are not the only person doing this, and the bathroom often hs a que for it.
If you like hustle-and bustle, you will love this starbucks, but you will hate it if you can't stand the hustle n bustle!
Starbucks do the mildest and pretty expensive coffee I have ever had. And this particular store on Tottenham Court Road is the tiniest one. But once your in the store this brand have managed to very cleverly brand a fairtrade system of business, where the raw materials are all organic. The folks are very generous with the cream on the Cafe mocha however!
Ducked in here to escape the rain one evening, only to find myself surrounded by a gaggle of extremely loud, obnoxious American preteens with their flustered, confused chaperones on some sort of school trip. I felt bad for the folks behind the counter as they were trying to take complicated frappuccino orders from no less than a dozen hyper, indecisive adolescents in this tiny location. They managed to get it together by the time I placed my order, made a good recommendation, and I thoroughly enjoyed my non-fat, add shot holiday latte.
Cozy Starbucks always with a good selection of cakes. Good place to rest after shopping for furniture on TCR.
one of the worst in the area, unfriendly, shout at you and had cinnamon twirl twice from here and was stale.
