In this bar ... No rules ! Write on the wall, speak to everyone, hear to random music or live music, drink Mojitos you never drink before !
Their mojitos are made with brown sugar (really good) and are cheap !
I haven't tries the Caipirina but I've been told that this is their specialty so must be really good as their mojitos are ... Wow !
Tiny bar with often loooooots of people, there's a 2nd floor with a little room that is often less busy.
Bartenders are really nice and cool !
Go there and experiment the spiritual experience !
I stumbled into this place after eating dinner up the street and I'm sure glad I did! The first time in London I ordered a drink and it wasn't concocted by a complex scientific method of weights and measures. Hello, heavy pours, I've missed you.
This place has a great atmosphere. Not sure what it would look like with the lights on, but in the dim haze of a summer Saturday night on Camden High Street, it was magic. Live music, played to a friendly bunch perched on stools and leaning against door frames. Mojitos made to order. A bar tab which was dangerously cheap.
I can't say enough good things. My only gripe might be the size of the space, but if it were too big, it might lose it's charm.
Really intimate and inviting hipster bar specializing in the infamous Brazilian drink - the Caipirinha. The bartenders were friendly and jovial Eastern European dudes. The decor and vibe is very dark and mellow, but in a cool sort of way.
This establishment is located in the lively Camden neighborhood. I hosted a party here with my friends in London while in town for a few days. Unforgettable night and very friendly staff.
Perfectly formed, little bar, with a nod to the arts. I know that on Thursdays they have open mic night for singers/poets/actors. Plus loads of other events going on.
The main drink they serve are powerful caipirinhas and quality Brazilian beer.
Recommend if you want a chat and a sit down, away from bustling Camden.
Staff are hospitable and gregarious.
The flagship of the bar is obviously the caipirinha, made within Brazilian standard quality and excellent cachaça (the spirit used in caipirinha), but not only. This tiny and cosy bar, located in Camden, also offers another spirits and a really good food. They usually have some specials sets in the menu including Brazilian dishes and nibbles, which I truly recommend to try with your caipirinha. And if you like so much the drink they also teach you how to make a proper caipirinha as they offer caipirinha lessons.
This place is sooo cute! Quite literally - it's tiny, but lovely.
We went for some pre-gig food (The London Snorkelling Team at the Roundhouse - also highly recommended) and it was really busy. The tiny upstairs provides an experience akin to eating in someone's bedroom with a bunch of strangers, but I'm pretty open to new experiences.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was pretty decent and reasonably priced. Obviously you can't go to a bar called Spiritual Caipirinha without sampling a Caipirinha or two. Conveniently Qype has a 2-4-1 voucher which I was pretty pleased about. That coupled with happy hour drinks before 7pm make for a good evening.
The staff here are SUPER nice. Plus side: cosy, "real" cocktails (they don't skimp on the alcohol!), cute decor, friendly service, reliable/consistent food, eclectic music. Minus side: eclectic music (see Pluses -- this depends on your mood), variable volume of music, inconsistent portion sizes. On this last point, sometimes the seafood starter is huge (main course size) and sometimes it's served on a small side plate, and the rump steaks are up to 50% smaller or 100% bigger (depending on your perspective). Overall, a very positive experience if for nothing else than the drinks and the company.
Went here the other night and had a great time.
Food was great quality and very reasonably priced. Cocktails were amazing and they had happy hour till 8pm.
Staff was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. I accidentally knocked my drink over and they gave me another one free of charge.
Mojitos are super strong :)
Really lovely place, cosy and with great music. Loved the atmosphere!!
