A local fav but not up to western standards. Cheap deal and good for a big block looking for a filler. Very large restaurant and well presented. toilets need urgent work.
My friends and I made the mistake of eating at this unkempt indian "buffet". They advertised over 50 different meal options, sadly there wasn't even half of these options presented. The curry was extremely runny, all of the chicken contained bones, their "onion rings" were soggy, and frankly the only semi-edible food was the Chinese chow mein- not even an Indian dish!
The buffet items did not only taste bland, but there service was unacceptable. Upon them running out of receipt paper, they insisted we pay in cash or walk down the road to the ATM to withdraw money. Really? There was no "cash only" sign on the window and this was the reason I ate here because I didn't have any more cash. So after they argued with me, belittled me, and ordered me to find the nearest ATM to accommodate their mistake- I lost it! It was horrible customer service and they were extremely rude. Finally they moved their lazy behinds to a nearby store to get receipt paper, after glaring and rolling their eyes at me numerous times.
Frankly I visited two other amazing Indian buffets down the road and wished I had eaten at one of these restaurants again because coming to Sonargaon was a horrible choice!
I hope no one makes the same mistake my friends and I did by eating at this shameful restaurant they call "fine Indian cuisine".
I had the misfortune to stumble in here a week or so ago hoping that a Bangladeshi, Indian and Chinese buffet might somehow bring lunchtime dining to a new geographic and gastronomic level and all for £6.95.
It didn't, there are 50 things on the buffet ban marie and all of them unpleasant. If you don't like your curry on the bone and I don't (who came up with the idea of a dish you have to eat with your hands and turmeric at the same time? Someone that only ever wears orange shirts that's who!) this is not the place for you. In fact none of it was very nice. The only things I enjoyed about the experience was a plastic bottle of mineral water and leaving.
Looking down at the Yelp review options in the Good For section there is no option for demolition which is a sad thing as it is truly what this place would be best for.
