Sofa Workshop

The name of this place, and the shop itself, would undoubtedly make as many people go 'urrrgh!' as it would 'aaah!' but it's definitely useful if you want a last-minute mini-gift, or stocking filler, with a high cuteness quotient.


The small fake-fur inhabitants here are just £4. Most little girls (and some larger ones) would fall head-over-heels for the baby pink leopard. Sporty boys would enjoy the snowboarding bear or the England rugby frog. If you desperately need a new outfit (!) for your favourite fake-furry friend you'll be spoilt for choice here.

I absolutly love it here but when I want to buy something I can't buy it because it is far to expensive and then when I do buy it ,it is rubbish it dosn't fit or it breaks. I thought that they wanted to make children happy but all they do is make children cry because thier item that they saved up for has broken.

This shop is great! They have a large selection of toys, not just bears, they have frogs, rabbits, dogs, but it depends what the range is as they get new stock that replaces the old toys. You can select the toy that you want, then you can choose how you want it to be stuffed, cuddly or firmer. Then you kiss a fabric heart which goes inside, and the toy is stitched up. You can also choose for it to have a noise, like play 'i like you' or sing happy birthday when you squeeze it, or even record your own message. Then you can choose an outfit for the bear, the range is massive! You choose the name of the bear, and have a birth certificate printed! It is a lovely place, the children seem to love it and it would make a lovely gift.
They do have children's parties here, which involves one of the staff dressing up as a giant bear, which is great fun for the children! The staff are very friendly and helpful!!
