We had a pleasant diner.
Some good fresh tortellini with salmon and nice gnocchi with pesto sauce!
Good wine with it.. and a nice tiramisu.
You can definitely stop at that place!

I have a mixed feeling about the experience. In short it was OK.

The longer version is that the service was good and friendly. Everything also arrived on time and was decent.

However... The plating was nothing special at all. The food tasted OK but was again nothing special. There was a background music but I couldn't exactly tell what genre or mood they were trying to aim at.

They also misspelled Paccheri pasta as Piacchietti

Though what really disappointed me was to find out that they don't accept credit or debit cards, with these prices! I had to walk 10min to Rosenthaler Platz to cash out.

Not quite like this style dishes, the bread is a little bit too hard. May be good place for a drink.

i went with friends to this place and expected a higher class restaurant with very good service, because of the higher prices than around! i got the pasta with mozzarella and basil and u can do it this or that way. but it wasnt something special, i can cook it the same way!
the location is great outside and u feel like ur on vacation in a big city, quiet funny cause i use to live around the corner!;-)
the service was a bit funny and very dreamy but simon (i think hes the owner) was pretty cool and a real restaurateur!!! so one star is left cause of the quiet normal food!

Linguini with tiger prawns were 15 Euro
- The Linguini were overcooked and lacked texture and even flavour. Had to ask for extra cheese to make it taste ok (which was not even Parmesan by the way).
- The 3 prawns were still in their shells but had a rubbery texture as they had clearly been overcooked.
(Linguini mit riesengarnelen 15 Euro. Die Linguini waren verkocht und hatten wenig geschmack)

This place is just not serious.

I would give this place a negative rating!
The service is terrible. It took a long time until they asked our orders. They've forgotten our utensils. They brought in our main courses before our starters after an hour of waiting. So they took the main courses away and brought in the starters. When they brought back the main courses (steaks), it seemed as if these were the ones they served earlier and just placed over a heating pan until it was time to serve them again. And of course, they forgot our dessert.
The food is decent if they actually managed to serve them. But there are lots of other places out there which serve great food for the same or even lower price, and with the service that they have, it's definitely best to stay away from this place!
Also, when we arrived and said we have a reservation, the guy apparently didn't understand us. But instead of asking us to repeat what we said, he immediately assumed we were looking for jobs and told us there are no job vacancies. Wow.
Go somewhere else. This place doesn't deserve your time and money.

Food delicious and service super. Not cheap, but well worth the money!
