Shoryu Ramen

Hot bowl of ramen = Perfect remedy for a freezing cold London day!

Had to queue outside for about a half hour to get a table for two, but that was expected and so worth it. Something that stood out to me and I just have to mention it, is that they have a heat lamp for all of us eager ramen-craving freezing patrons right outside of the entrance. How thoughtful :)

We started with the pork belly hirata buns. The bread was fluffy and the meat was tender, delicious. A little bit of spiciness, which was unexpected but tolerable enough for a spice-wimp like me. Then came the main event. I had the Tokyo Shoyu and it was amazing. The broth was full of flavour and the pork, veggies & noodles were all delectable. The portion was enormous and I was fully stuffed and satisfied at the end of the meal. Great place!

The noodles didn't quite donut for me. Not the perfect texture. And the wait was somewhat longer than expected. And more importantly, the restaurant was a tad on the hot side. Better ventilation would have been better.

It's just alright. Okay ramen. Okay Gyoza, okay service. In a great location. I've had better Ramen in London. This place is ...... fine.

Awesome! Quick and delicious. Try the fired chicken rolls and spicy ramen. So good. Decent cocktails too.

Excellent service, food, and location! The ramen was fresh and hot, the wine selection was nice, and the restroom was clean! This place is a perfect match for cold weather. The pork bun is amazing! You have to try it!

I would say I am pretty predictable when it comes to finding ramen places. I ALWAYS try to go to at least one ramen place wherever I am. It doesn't always work out but most of the time it does. This time, it worked out. We chose this place because it got good reviews.
The inside is really nice, rustic with a modern twist. I'm almost 100% positive we were seated upstairs. My fiancee and his sister both got the tonkatsu ramen. I got the Shoryu Ganso Tonkatsu, which is their signature ramen. I think it's really difficult to f*ck up ramen, so of course, the ramen was really really good. I also got the virgin yuzu mojito, which was tart, but I liked it.
I couldn't tell if it was just me but the waitress was a bit short with us. Maybe I was just imagining it. Regardless, I can see why this place gets good reviews. It's a modern-rustic place for great ramen. Perfect place for friends and dates.

While visiting London in December, I got a chance to try this Ramen place. Having tried quite a few ramen places in the US, I must say their ramen tastes fantastic! The options of how you want the noodles (soft or hard) is great! Efficient service and clean place. I would recommend

Honestly, the most rubbish ramen i have ever tasted. Why does this has 4 star review???? doesnt even make sense. Ippudo is bad but this is worse lol. Not worth it to go or maybe if you wanna follow the hype you can but its not worth the money and your time. Not coming back ever!!!

A welcome respite amidst the bustle of Piccadilly Square. The rich broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and jammy eggs felt like a warm hug.
