Sheraton Skyline Hotel
4 reviews for Sheraton Skyline Hotel
Just stayed here again for a week and I have to say that it was really nice that so many of the staff remembered me. Although also a bit frightening at the same time :-) since it means I used to be here a lot!
They now have a Starbucks, which was great since they offered some great paninis and sandwiches, which made the food variety better.
Room service also got much better. They have a nice variety of Indian food and I enjoyed the Greek salad a few times.

This used to be my second home for a few years and they knew me by name, which was kind of scary. … Read more »
I stayed at this hotel for one night with my husband and mother-in-law. The hotel is VERY conveniently located near London Heathrow's terminals 1, 2, and 3. I believe it is a bit farther away from terminal 4 and 5. We arrived late (around 9pm) from having stayed in London central for a night. When we arrived we took a taxi from the underground station to the hotel (£9). There is high speed internet computers (with printers) in the lobby (60 mins = £5, or 24 hours = £15). We were given a one hour complimentary pass because we are Platinum Sheraton members. The concierge can book a taxi for early departure in the morning, but there really isn't a need. We took the Hotel Hoppa bus to Terminal one for £4 per person. From Shearton Skyline, the Hoppa bus stops at Terminal 1 first (then 2, then 3).
The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Our room (2095) was VERY far away from the lifts and actually a little hidden (near a stairwell). The rooms looked fresh and attractive. They looked like they may have been recently refurbished. The water pressure in the shower was extremely strong, possibly a little too strong for some.
i was a little annoyed when I called down to change our wake up call to a later time and ended up getting two wake up calls (one for the early and later times).
The main reason for our choice of this hotel was because it was very close to Terminal 1 and is a Sheraton Hotel. We previously stayed at the Sheraton Heathrow and would recommend this hotel over that one easily.
This was a great place to stay as it was very convienent on out return trip back to the states. The room was big, the bed comfortable and the price right. You could catch a free bus to the terminal then jump on the Tube to London, so you didn't have to rent a car or catch a taxi. We slept welll and were not bothered by any noise. If you're going to the airport they have shuttles leaving every so often for a small fee.
Not my first pick when traveling to UK but I have stayed at this hotel many times because it is very conveniently located just 10 minutes away from my company's UK office. It is also right next to the Heathrow airport so it is convenient in that regard as well. In terms of amenities - it is your basic Starwood Sheraton. It has everything you need for business travel and it is clean. The rooms are actually quite large and it has a very nice gym - thanks goodness for both of these features because there is nothing to do in the nearby vicinity, not even decent restaurants. The hotel restaurants are fine, nothing great but not bad. One thing that is really great to know about this place is they do offer half day rates - I've had a flight arrive into Heathrow at 7 am and checked into the hotel for several hours to shower and freshen up then head off to meetings nearby and then head into London in the evening.
