This is a good little salon just a few minutes away from Fulham Broadway tube station. Compared to lots of places in this area you get much more for your money here. Sava uses Aveda products and actually has a really wide range if you want to stock up while you're in the area - they do really good hair products if you haven't already discovered them!
When I last went it was ultra quiet but that was during the day so maybe it's different in the evenings and on weekends but the staff are really friendly and pretty quick and efficient too. As well as hair they do the standard selection of beauty treatments, including tanning and massages. In fact, a hand massage is often thrown in with the hair cut which can be a bit off putting if you're trying to flick through a magazine. Still, the intention is good.
HORRIBLE! Had a voucher for BRazilian Blow Dry, but was so concerned when I came into the salon the hairdresser didn't speak English, didn't understand what I wanted, was terribly rude (didn't even great me when I came in), pulled at my hair, that I decided not to have it! When I said I would rather leave his response was fuck off then and when I was out of the door he called me a bxxxx. I emailed Groupon to ask for the money back, but wonder why they would not check salons?
Really unhappy with the Brazilian Blow-Dry I had here. The experience itself was ok, the stylist didn't speak any English even though he was in language school which I found a bit strange but it was fine. I paid, they gave me a small conditioner to put on my hair when I washed it out and didn't recommend I buy any products. This was a week ago. The treatment has worked and my hair is very straight but it feels SO rough in places, like I have backcombed it really hard. I have been doing really deep conditioning all week and it's not working. I phoned the salon this morning. The man I spoke to said I should have bought an approved shampoo and conditioner from them. No-one recommended I do so at the time or told me there could be any problems like this. I told him I have had this treatment twice before and despite using my regular shampoo, everything was fine. He said that treatment probably used formaldehyde it didn't. He said I could come into the salon and they could look at my hair. I told him it takes me an hour to get to the salon so unless he thinks he knows what to do, it's a very long journey. He said 'ok, don't come then'. So now I have really dry, rough hair, conditioning is not working and all the salon can advise me to do is buy one of their expensive shampoos, that I have to travel an hour to buy. Will not be going back, ever.
