This is a lovely store but it is just so expensive, apparently the most expensive outside London, this is because there is no real competition locally from any other store, although when the Tesco finally is built there will be real competition.
Big store with excellent choice of clothes and electrical goods when you come into the store, lots of different ranges and all easily reached.
Customer service is good in my experience especially as I had to return a TV out of warranty but they liaised with their customer service people online to offer us a full refund.
Parking is not so good and often difficult to obtain parent and child spaces, with disabled users often being the culprits.
I have visited this Sainsbury's several times and have always found it a little strange. When you walk in it doesnt really feel like a supermarket, you are kind of drawn to the clothes/toys, magazines area. The clothes here are usually quite nice, and there is usually a sales rack. I have enjoyed browsing the rails for bargains. However, the food shopping i have found very difficult. It is near impossible to find your way to the items you want. Most trips I have got frustrated halfway around and returned home with only half the items that I want. They do not seem to stock as wide a variety of brands as other supermarkets i have frequented.
All in all, worth a visit, and i'm sure that if you visit several times and persevere with the food shopping then you would be able to find your way around.
This is just on the outskirts of Haverhill on your way to Cambridge, but it's so big, you can't miss it. It has everything inside from clothes, food (the usual Sainsbury stuff) and even perfume etc. Everything you need under one roof
