Came here for dinner with my boyfriend, my brother and sister in law for a Saturday night dinner. The ambience and decor were great, a really enjoyable atmosphere to have a meal in.
My boyfriend and I shared bruschetta and calamari for a starter, both tasted fresh and were good portion sizes.
For main I had the halibut which came with chilli and garlic spaghetti, it was absolutely delicious - full of delicate flavours. At £17.95 for a main course, this is a pricey option (pastas are much more reasonable, a range between £8-£12) but halibut is wonderful so it is worth it.
They also have quite an extensive daily specials menu...I think there was 5 or 6 things on it, and I wanted all of them which is unusual for me.
Finally, the wait staff were excellent - there was many of them - it felt like every time someone came to our table it was a new face, but they were smiling, helpful and efficient.
The only negative i have to comment on is that the toilets upstairs were absolutely tiny and rather claustrophobic. For a restaurant of this size, I hope those aren't the only toilets they offer!

Definitely one of the better italian dinners I've had in the UK, outside of London. A hearty italian meal, lasagne or a heavy ragu sauce can really make a difference to your state of mind, when all else is bleak, rainy, cold and windy.
I had their cold cuts and house red to start - standard stuff, but the meats were fresh, and the wine wasn't bad. The lamb pasta in ragu sauce was very hearty, and the panacotta with berries was really good too. Servings are fair, and it was all quite reasonable.
No complaints, except for the sodden walk home - that's why I'm taking a star off.

This is a fantastic place to eat out for any occasion. I ventured out here for a birthday meal and the only thing that disappointed me was the prices and the service.
The meals were absolutely delicious when they finally arrived. It was an extremely busy saturday night and there was a rather large group of us so that probably had something to do with the service. I don't know if this is every night.
The food was quite expensive but it was delicious to go with it so i could definately put up with the slow service. This is defiantely worth a visit if you want good food and have a few hours to spare

Just back from Rustico and on reflection it wasnt the experience I was expecting. After booking three weeks prior for two adults and one child, we were only told on arrival that there was no children's menu. Second to that our table was lopsided and made it a very uncofterble experience, I did however inform the waitress, and explained there was no point in relocating us,as it was very busy and my son was setteled. I had a very muffled sorry and an extra scoop of ice cream for my son, whitch was ovasally an attempted to compensate for my complaint. On leaving there was no response to my previous complaint, I was very disappointed overall and will not be back even if I was offered a free meal !!

This place is amazing - we were a group of 30 on a Saturday night and every single one of us agreed on how incredible the food is! The lamb was succulent and tender, and the sauce on the chicken was heavenly. Service was fast and charming, despite the fact that we weren't the only large group in there. I really couldn't fault it. You won't regret trying it out.
