I've been having my haircuts and colour at this branch of Chiswick for almost two years.
Its not through lack of trying new things, but because i find their service excellent!
You get 10% discount off your next appointment when you book on the day of your haircut and they even send you a text to remind you of the appointment two days prior!
They are extremely professional and look the part. They read their clients well and i didn't find them overly-chatty on the days i didn't feel like chattering.
I don't know if its just me, but in some hairdressers you can just feel the vibes between all the staff. Remnants from working in an open plan environment. None of that here!
So while i'm waiting for the colour to set, glass of wine in hand.they have excellent music choice too!
Simply cannot fault them!
Great hairdressers on the high rd,very smart and clean line looking,they do hair extensions too,i think its the only one on the high rd.
Very helpfull and you always feel well taken care of from the top man to the girls washing your hair.
They have their own training school so im told and this chain is fast growing too.
Worth a blow dry at the least.
I had a terrible time at this branch of Rush. I had booked a haircut with one of the best (most expensive) hairdressers there. When I turned up I thought I was just being looked after by another hairdresser. I then had a really chavvy teenager wash my hair and go Oh god, your hairs like really thin...cheers lovefine is the word you were looking for.
Feeling like I must be balding, the first lady starts cutting my hair! I tell her I booked with the guy who's still cutting someone else's hair.she laughs and carries on, I end up with a haircut I don't like and will never be going back!
Currently trying to grow my hair long, I only booked a colouring. The result was disastrous the middle section ended up in a ginger strip with the rest of the hair being dark. How they managed to do that is beyond me. Two of their staff then tried to convince me that it was just the light in the salon. Evenutally, one senior female staff took over and fixed it. I had to sit through the whole procedure again. My hair ended up looking ok but not great. They did offer me 50% reduction but I have lost all faith in them.
Just had a full head tint there, and after the colour was applied, there was still a clear visible line between my old colour and tne new one. They have then applied a toner, which was on there for another 20 minutes, but the line is still visible. Very unprofessional and cost 42 quid. Could have done a much better job myself at home, and that would have only cost 10 quid!
Also, my cardigan got web as theydid not use towel. Basic!
so the price is average but the service and quality is bad!
I have always had good service here, and I have often phoned on the day and they have availability. Not my favourite, but staff are happy and chatty.
As I grew older, I became
fussy at how my hair would be cut! I have thick wavey hair and it requires some
texturizing and chopping into to give it a flow like look. I had a bad time with
HEADMASTERS who are only down the road from RUSH. The lady at HEADMASTER'S
mulletted my hair from when I told her I wanted Soft layers..not sure how she
got MULLET from SOFT LAYERS. I grew it out and decided
it all needed to be correct, a colleague mentioned RUSH- so I decided to grit
my teeth and try it out. One of the main CEO directors happened to be in that
Branch that day (as he makes odd trips to random Branches). He took my appointment
on, and looked very creative. He told me my hair was a mess! And that he knows
what to do. I closed my eyes and hoped for the best. He did such a fantastic
job that when I got up, I actually hugged him! Second time I went to
Rush- I asked for the same guy and they explained how he only comes to their
branch randomly. So they gave me a stylist called Chika! Who is a Japanese
lady. I told her what I wanted, and she was fantastic with her scissoring
techniques. She textured and chopped into my hair! Though it's always a shock
when you go to the till and they so casually say £70.00 please! I somehow think
it's worth it. I like walking out of a salon knowing and feeling my hair has
been cut correctly. A lot of hairdressers do not know how to cut hair properly
or their techniques just does not work for your hair- this leaves it feeling
heavy, the hair not sitting right, blunt cut feeling etc. I always request Chika
now, she has recently been promoted so her price has gone up by £5.00 or so. I'm
not sure how their pricing works- I don't think these stylists are paid by the
hour, I think they are paid via each client they receive hence the price being
so high. The actual hair cut does not take long at all! So you do wonder why
you are paying that much. Either way I'm happy with
Chika, my only concern is if she leaves! :$ I won't trust another to do my
Very disappointed and upset by the cervices in there. The wash was very quick and unpleasant. The hair cut done by a chap was disgusting and i had to go back so the manager could try to fix it. She tried but the damage was done. I would never go back. I feel ripped off. And i will submit my review to every possible website for the public to know.
