The Regal Cinema within Henley was quite a refreshing experience.
The staff were absolutely lovely. They were helpful, productive, knowledgable, approachable, and funny to boot. The theatre was very clean and comfortable and within walking distance to many restaurants and pubs.
The list of alcohol available was impressive, the fairtrade coffee and snacks of White Chocolate-Coated Raspberries, Wasabi Peas, Mixed Sweets or Lemon-Salted Cashews were a nice addition (although there was the typical popcorn and candy) and have yet to see the like elsewhere.
Cheaper than London, although most places thankfully are.
Concession (Mon-Fri) £6.50
Family of 4 £21.00
The Regal Cinema is by no means a large venue, but you will find many top billings and various shows that you cannot find anywhere as well as showings dedicated to autistic children and their families.
First of all, the staff at this cinema are fantastic. Really nice people who are extremely helpful!
This is a small theater and seems fairly indie, but is very affordable and the theaters themselves are very spacious. It's very clean and all seems very new.
I had a weird experience with the bathrooms, it got so immensely crowded at one point that women were using the mens room. And that was really uncomfortable. But other than that the bathrooms are clean and nice.
The theater is attached to an Italian restaurant called Strada which is 5 star quality as well. So grab your date and take her to Strada and then to the Regal Cinema for a dinner date extravaganza!
There is a lot of alcohol to be purchased so drink up during the film and forget the ending so you can watch it again!
A lovely little cinemaThey do have 3 screens, but the 3rd one is pretty tiny! They are very nice and friendly, and have a good variety of stuff.
They show the live feed screenings of the New York Met. Opera, and also show some pretty interesting art/old films on a weekly basis. If you live nearby and like film its definately worht joining thier mailing list so you dont miss any of the gems they have
This is a pretty decent cinema, if a little small - only had 2 screens if I remember correctly.
I loved the fact that they sold Gin & Tonic Sorbet and that you could go there to watch a Wednesday afternoon matinee of a classic.
Love this cinema. Clean place, happy and friendly staff, and you can even get a civilised glass of wine. Also they have just refurbished and the seats are lovely and fluffy. Great discounts for being a member too; three free cinema tickets a year, no booking fees and discounts on food and drink at the cinema. Forget the big smelly Odeons and Vue; come to the smaller (and cheaper) venues!
I've seen a few movies here and i've got to say it's a really good cinema to enjoy the latest films in. Good staff make sure that your never long in the que.
I really like going here. Friendly people and the added bonus of a fully licensed bar, imagine taking a beer or wine in to the film! Fantastic. Four stars only because its a little small
small and friendly local cinema - lots of people seem to use it.
