Queensgate shopping centre is a modern and well designed shopping centre in the heart of Peterborough shopping area. It has two multi story car parks which have always seemed very safe and secure when I have visited them. If you use the one closest to the centre you do not have to go outside. You access the centre via a road bridge from the car park. The main bus station is situated just below the shopping area with escalators and lifts to take you straight to the shops.
Queensgate is clean and spacious with plenty of shops to keep you busy for the day and if you require the need of more shops its many exits lead you out onto other shopping streets in Peterborough. There are plenty of places to eat or get a soft drink. I do feel there could be more toilet facilities but as many of the stores do have customer toilets it's not a major problem.
Queensgate shopping centre is a large shopping mall with several floors. They have two good sized car parks attached to the shopping centre, one is within the centre and the other is across the road, however there is a footbridge that links the car park to the centre. At peak times it can be a bit of a nightmare getting into the car park, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, a week before Christmas last year on a week day I was stuck in the queue for the car park for an hour! The majority of the major stores are located in the shopping centre as well as plenty of eating places.
mmmm luvin a double cheese burger, hold the chips. quick and easy snack.
queensgate is getting better and with the addition of primark next year will be brilliant but that lack of public toilets in the centre is a shame, and could do with a facelift as it's looking a little worn and old.
