We visit Praha on a regular basis during the daytime and very occasionally at night.

It is a really nice, bar & restaurant in the lower part of Hinckley Town Centre. As well as serving alcohol they sell nice coffee which makes it an ideal place to meet your mates for a coffee and chat or for lunch. They have a good selection of light bites on their lunch menu and they also serve breakfast from 9.30am till 11.30am. During the week it is a place where new mums meet so although this may put some people off it has never been a problem and I have never been there when there are lots of babies crying. They have pool tables at the far end of the bar which brings in the younger generation too but again, they are never loud enough to put you off your meal. They have a function room available to hire upstairs which is ideal for birthday parties etc which they will cater for.

They also regularly have band nights where you can take your instruments and mic's and go along and entertain the punters. At the weekend the pub has a good atmosphere and it is a nice place to hang out. They also have an outside patio area which is ideal on long summer evenings.

All in all, Praha is a top place to visit anytime of the day or night.

Before I found this cafe, Praha was my favourite place for coffee in Hinckley. (They serve Illi, which is the best if you're purely going by taste.) Their food is also of a very high standard for a cafe. With an upstairs annexe and a patio in back for fine weather, it has a good capacity. The ambience is young and hip, and they also serve beer, wine and cocktails and have live music of an evening. And yet, it is very family-friendly, without any of that condescending twee-ness of family restaurants. For almost any event, it's the best all-round cafe/restaurant/bar in the area.
