if you shop in the POUNDLAND shop HOUNSLOW CENTER, do not use your credit card, mine was copied there in june and the person who did that went to a cash machine in Uxbridge to take money out. I wrote to the direction, but they never answered. Be careful!!!

Loads of cheap stuff here, particularly Bollywood dvds if you're into that sort of thing. I got the Toxic Avenger here and a Seann William Scott heist movie which was rubbish. Toxie however is great and should be viewed by all fans of comedy.
Beware the large bags of sweets and chocolates, they're not good value for money. Best Buy? Packs of small batteries for watches and cameras, a pound for about thirty, whereas separately they charge what, £4? Something like that?

So you have got Disney Land, Genie Land, Money Land and now.. Pound Land! I love this place. Yes! Everything here is a pound. It is incredible the things that I can get with a whole pound. It is not just 'a pound' in Pound Land but it is 'a whole pound'. From toiletries, to stationery, software, handmade items, pet care items, plus many more. You will find it here and will leave with a big smile on your face. New stocks come in every week so keep your eyes peeled because you never know what valuables you could rake in at the price of one pound.

If you are looking for some bargains, then this shop is a great place to come to. You can find all sorts of well priced goods here but as with all these places there is also a lot of tat so you'll need to look through the dirt to find the gold! :P

I always find that this is a great place to go at this time of year as it's a great place to get Christmas wrapping paper and tags for your gifts. It's not of the best quality but why bother to pay more when people are just going to rip the presents open anyways? Another good buy is batteries which are also useful at Christmas for those toys that you buy as you know the kids always want to play with them as soon as they open them! :)

It still seems that so little people know about all the bargains you can bag. They sell anything from medicine to household goods and computer accessories. They've got great Christmas and Halloween decorations. Some stuff is obviously not cheaper than from a supermarkets own brand stuff but you can really get a few named brand stuff in Poundland for a pound instead of two anywhere else. This store has recently been renovated and it looks and feels so much better. Situated in Whitgift Centre, it's ideal for a day out in town.

Poundland has excellent deals for £1! I bought toothpaste from there which costs over £2 in tescos and you can even buy your lunch there now for a decent price. I used to always buy Cds and Dvd Recordables from there. Fully recommended

Poundland is a little gem. You can not miss the large Green sign as you walk through the Whitgift cente shopping centre. The things they sell in there are brilliant and all for £1. Coming up to Christmas you can buy all sorts of things in there, from wrapping paper to tins of Twiglets. It gets very busy and hard to walk down the aisles but there are always plenty of staff around which is helpful. You can definitely grab yourself a bargain if you have a good look around and before you know it you have spent more then you has budgeted for.

Place is relatively small, overcrowded and a tad hot sometimes, but the cheap prices are what makes going to this store worth it.
