Portsoy Coffee Shop

Absolutely amazing, a real hidden gem.
Well worth a visit. from a cup of coffee and a cake to a three course lunch great value for money with friendly helpfull staff.

My greatgrandmother grew up in Portsoy so my parents and I visited the town. We had read good reviews of the coffee shop so it was the first place we stopped.

The three of us had the cheesy bagel topped with egg and it was very good, and a generous helping. There was also a large selection of coffee drinks to choose from. Everything we had was great and filling. Jill was very sweet and it was a joy talking with her.

Apparently the cafe gets quite busy for lunch, which starts at 11:30am. There are some good specials available. As we ate, several locals walked in a requested reservations for a few hours later (the coffee shop only has a few tables). That's a sign of a good place!

In general, I love Scotland. It's hard to compare places such as these with those in The States, but visiting the Portsoy Coffee Shop started our day off great!
