Not the best Pizza Express that I've been to but it's ok. The food is nice but the venue is not very impressive. The staff and service are a bit slow too which didn't matter on the evening we went because we had two hours to kill before our film started in the cinema. However, I wouldn't be happy to wait so long normally.
I had the dough balls which I always love and the American Hot Classic Pizza for main which was really nice. I do think that all Pizza Express' are a little overpriced for what you get though. I ordered a large Peroni beer and although it was a bit bigger than a pint, I don't think that £7 is a fair price. Overall it's an ok place to go if you are at the O2 for a film or concert and you have a couple of hours to burn.
Dropped by Pizza Express for dinner after an event at the O2. We came just before the rush and long lines thank goodness! The pizza was decent but the lasagna was a clear winner for quite possibly the worst lasagna I have ever had. When it came out, it did not even look appealing. Upon tasting it, my fears were brought to life. It tasted like they just took a few slab of cheese and melted them in a tray with nothing else inside.
