I go to this branch quite a lot and although the food is really nice the service can be hit or miss. They are normally pretty good with the children but sometimes when they get busy you can be waiting for your food for a long time.
They do great birthday parties here - where the kids make thier own pizza and put all the toppings on etc. Great fun.
This isn't a bad little place as far as pizza chains go, the staff are friendly enough and have a little banter which is always nice. The food is good, better than pizza hut, rivals domino's though its probably healthier so thumbs up there. The pizza's are a bit more traditional, thin crispy bases and quite generously topped. I think it's more of a classier pizza establishment, lots of chrome and glass!
They do have some good desserts in here, the chocolate cake with icecream is great. The prices are reasonable and its definitely not a bad venue for a mildly classy pizza.
I always think Pizza Express is just a little bit classier than Pizza Hut. The menu has more choice and the pizzas are tastier and are more traditional as it is an Italian restaraunt. We love the dough balls with dips. They do delicious pasta dishes especially the cannelloni. We think that the staff are really attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is very calm. The best dessert is the chocolate glory with ice cream and fudge cake covered in chocolate sauce.
