One of my favourite Pizza Expresses (there are quite a lot in Leeds and none of them are as good as this one in terms of quality of service, although the food's pretty much the same, what with it being a chain and that, like). I've been here quite a lot when I've been home to see my oldies as they're Pizza Express Club Members (woop!), and get offers and deals and special birthday meals and we cash in on them all a fair bit - you make your money back quickly with it too.
The restuarant's just at the bottom of Steep Hill, and the layout is cosy, with a split level area as you go in, and a cosy waiting bit with armchairs and books and stuff.
Mmm just thinking about the garlic dough balls is making me hungry
Been to many Pizza Express Restuarants in our time seems to be mainly a brand you can rely on musy have had an off night on Sunday even though the place was 2/3 empty
Starter wasn't up to much and the main course chicken pasta was overdone service was o.k
Why do they try and seat you at the worst table when the place is pretty much empty ????
I'm sure I've reviewed this somewhere already, but highly recommended. Great for couples, as well as families. Once of the nicest Pizza Express' that I've visited.
Staff was friendly & service was good, however the food was just OK but not fantastic. The pizza was much to greasy to the extent that fat was dripping of it & the dough was much to thin with no crust as well as the fact that you had to tear your pizza apart as it wasn't cut properly.
