Me and my boyfriend had our appointment on Sunday (24th April). As soon as we got there we were greeted and given champagne (No 'selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks' were shown). We filled out a form basically saying what kinds of pictures we wanted then they got started on my hair and make-up straight away. The make-up artist was excellent, she listened to what I asked for and took her time to produce an excellent result (although she did not use all Mac products like I was told she would). It was also the make-up artist who did my hair and to be honest, I could've done it a lot better myself! Outfits weren't really discussed but I'd pretty much decided on my own anyway. the photographer was younger than I expected and did a good job. We decided that we could afford to buy 4 photos and when we viewed them the guy didn't really push us to buy loads, which I was glad about. The four photos we came away with are really lovely, but I found it quite easy to pick out them from the selection as there were quite a few I didn't like. we were finished within about 3 hours which suited us fine really (there were a couple of small periods of waiting but nothing annoying) and we came away happy, with four beautiful photos top share with our family and friends, having had a nice few hours and not having spent more than we could afford.
Had a photoshoot today. It was reasonable, but very rushed as they obviously had a lot of people to get through. Yes, it was free, but when we only wanted one photo at the end (which wasn't even THAT good) they were quite rud3. The photographer was very nice though. The makeup artists didn't ask what we wanted and just did their own thing and I wasn't too happy with the look. It was a fun day out, but all in all unless you're looking for a photoshoot anyway and willing to spend a lot of money, I wouldn't recommend. Find somewhere else that you pay for, but get the photos cheaper. All in all, fun, but not worth it.
