Number one persian restaurant in Europe for sure, quality food, great ambiance, lovely stuff , very good service. Had an amazing time with my other half and really enjoyed the piano. The prices are very reasonable for the quality food and service. Highly recommend. Definitely going back to try some more dishes.
Before you walk in have a look on the board outside for offers.
Nice place for parties - this place is maaassive. They have a private area at the back in case you want to hide your party away, and for the adventurous they can arrange for belly dancers as well :/
I have to admit, prices are higher than other Persian restaurants nearby but I'll very likely be going back to try this place again.
We got here courtesy of a KGB Deal, although why it took a deal to fish out this little gem I am only to blame. Based on the trendy Chiswick high road there is some good enough nearby and free on street car parking if you go after half six as we did. The décor is suberb, really elegantly and tastefully decorated. We loved the glass chandeliers and the nice bench seating arrangement. On entering you are presented with a grand piano, okay taking the name this fits but as a Persian restaurant I don't see the connection myself!
It was fairly quiet when we went but it was a Tuesday and at around 7pm which I doubt is the busiest period. The manager was lovely, he showed us around the restaurant as it is new and also we spied a little gem of a private function room which you can hire out for parties as a shisha room, excellent!
The food was fresh and cooked perfectly. I had a Piano signature salad which was lovely and the other half had a tabbouleh which we have to confess was just scrumptious. I had a JooJoh kebab (chicken) and she had a Kabudeh Kebab both of which were perfect. In some Iranian places they don't spice the meat very well, it can result in being bland meat but this was spiced up perfectly. I ordered a separate chilli sauce which went really well but is definitely chilli so take care!
Rounded our meal off with some run of the mill deserts however, desert was not a jot on the mind as the starter and main were more than enough and very pleasing to boot. We will be back!
Went with a group of work collegues lastnight. £25 set menu. Entree was a selection of dips & breads. My favourite was the smoked aubergine dip- absolutely delicious. The main came with rice & salad & was a selection of kebabs including chicken & lamb. Again, really delicious & your could taste the coal fire cooking. With tea they brought some baklava afterwards.
A huge range of cocktails & drinks to choose from. The waiters didnt seem to have a clue about the drinks though. Every time we ordered a cocktail, the waiter would come back to check what we had ordered! Service was otherwise friendly & attentive.
There was live music which made for a great atmosphere. No belly dancer the night we went- but felt a bit up market for that. There is private dining at the back & you can apparently smoke shisha there too. Lovely decor with beautiful chandeliers & a grand piano.
It would have been nice if there was a lounge/bar area to sit while we waited for friends, rather than sitting at a huge table for 15. We were each given a drink on the house while we waited which was nice. Its really a restaurant though & not a bar.
I believe there are cheaper Persian restaurants nearby, but this was really nice. Typical London prices for drinks, but I'd def go back again.
We spent New Years Eve here. Great food and Entertainment. Will try again. Recommended.
