After hiring PGS to resolve a problem with my boiler just under a month ago, I endured nothing but hassle, stress and significant expense but without coming close to resolution to the problem with my boiler. They then after all this time advised that it would be more economically viable to replace the boiler than pursue further costly repairs which they would not guarantee. I was extremely frustrated that even short cursory visits where nothing was achieved were charged in full and so sought reimbursement for these visits and guarantees that future repairs would be covered by warranty to avoid a repeat of the escalating costs.
After speaking to many different members of the team of customer service assistants, I finally managed to speak the manager who was very eloquent but tigerish and impertinent in the extreme and offered none of the guarantees I wanted.
As a side note, I subsequently felt like I was left with no option but to employ a different company to do the job and they completed it quickly on a fixed scale to a fraction of the cost that PGS outrageously charged for not completing it.
From reading reviews on this and several other sites, I see that I am not alone in my bad experiences with PGS, so would strongly warn against using them.
As a result of recent works which PGS had conducted, my heating stopped working. I called them immediately, however, they did not bother to return calls and so it took them 2 weeks to arrange an appointment for one of their guys to sort out the mess. As a result, I did not have heating for almost 3 weeks in November. Very poor performance. Cannot recommend.

Present PGS co-owner and Director, Richard Wallace formed the company in 2005 providing plumbing and gas engineering services in Surrey and south London, mainly by subcontracting to British Gas.
In 2011 PGS began to expand into new trades. This theme quickly developed and by the end of the year PGS was also up and running with teams of handymen (highly skilled multi-traders), pest controllers and drainage engineers.
At the end of 2011 PGS moved into its current office in New England House. This provided much needed extra space and allowed recruitment of some additional members to the quoting and administration teams.
By 2013 PGS Services was employing 50 engineers on the road and 25 staff in the offce, including award winning video producer Dan Childs.
As a result a new website was launched with more emphasis on producing videos, showcasing the many sills and talents of the PGS team.
