Pancho Terrace

Specialties

Pancho offers tapas from all over the world. Not solely Spain, nor indeed Europe. Pancho fuses foods and styles from all over the world  within the small plates and dishes it serves.

Offering exceptional food at a great price, at Pancho there is something for everyone, if you want to pop in for a dish and a beer, or if you want to while the evening away trying loads, and enjoying the exclusive wine list, that's all good too.

Pancho is a small bar situated in a cellar beneath Warwick's independent quarter "Smith Street". As such, booking is recommended, and is essential at weekends.

Come see us, we don't disappoint. Come with an open mind, and taste some new flavours and enjoy the atmosphere only a 16th century cellar can offer!

History

Established in 2011.

Pancho is the culmination of 15 years 'practice' whilst working the way around the world. Chef Owner Dale Batchelor has worked in many places around the world, including Spain, Sweden and the US.
In 2011 a 16th century cellar steeped in Warwick's history became available, and Dale and his team went to work turning a piece of British history in to the place you see today, a tapas bar serving food and drink from all over the world.
Working closely with local suppliers where possible Pancho is almost 2 years old, and is going from strength to strength.

Dale B.
Dale B. Business Owner

Born in Poole, Dorset, but raised in the Warwickshire countryside, Dale decided post school that Britain wasn't where he wanted to be, and as his friends all went away to University, Dale went to find out the way the world works, travelling and finding his feet wherever the wind blew him.
Dale spent most of his 20s living outside of the UK, learning his trade, taking in lessons from Spain, Sweden, America, and parts of South America.
The culmination of his life work is here at Pancho. Mixing flavours, using little known tricks to allow food to give it's own flavour without adding anything unecessary.
It is intended that this be the first of many Pancho tapas bars!
