Oswaldtwistle Mills is a great place to spend half a day. Within the main area there is a market place of vaious shops selling different things to the high street. there is a fantastic range of textiles, including bedding ,curtaining and also offer a making up service for the cutains. there are craft type shops selling painted glasswear and outside there is a garden centre.
Within the mill is a Sweet factory - Stockleys where you can see the sweets being made,
add to that a range of clothing, gifts, homewear lighting, christmas trees etc
There is a large car park and you can stay as long as you want free of charge.
I love this type of shopping centre, there is something for husbands to do whilst their wife empties the babk account, Good selection of stalls cafes, outside garden centre and seating area. I love to watch the sweets made at Stockleys. Lots of stalls for the crafters with good selection of craft items.
