This place is so good! We stumbled up it one night while walking around. It is off the beaten path, so you will have to look for it. Everything is fresh. The pasta is to die for. If you get to Florence, look for it!

The food was impeccable. Service was also great. Got the pistachio gnocchi and a pizza. First meal in Italy and it hasn't been beat yet. I can't wait to return the next time I'm in the city.

My Wife and I had a fantastic dinner here!
We had dinner reservations for this restaurant after enjoying the views at Piazzale Michelangelo.
The restaurant was nicely decorated and well lit. Our servers were all friendly and lovely to talk to. For starters my wife and I ordered a fresh salad with smoked salmon and a grilled veggie dish with cheese.
For our main entrees my wife ordered the Chitarra D'autore which was a delicious spaghetti spun in a cream of Parmesan sauce with black truffle, bacon and egg yolk cream. You should definitely try this!
My order was I Pici Del Vicolo which was a Pici Spaghetti blanketed in a pecorino cheese sauce with porcini mushrooms, nutmeg and black truffle.
For dessert we ordered an espresso with a lovely tiramisu. If you are close by the Ufizzi, we highly recommend you stop by here for dinner.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 19 Oct 2023
We stopped by without a reservation and the kind host found us a table. A bottle of wine, pizza, Branzino and dolce was the perfect way to end the day. Quiet but lively. Comfortable and authentic. So glad we stopped by! Grazie!

Great experience here from the moment we walked in until we left. The staff was very kind and made us feel at home. The food was probably the best I have had my whole trip in Italy. Nice atmosphere as well, very clean and quiet. Highly recommend.

Recommend on a travel forum. So worth it! Fun atmosphere and great service. The food is....WONDERFUL! Pasta was flavorful and not heavy, we split a sautéed chicken and veggie dish that was incredible. Was packed but got us in with little wait.

So delicious and worth all the hype. We were tired of pasta after a week of epic Italian food. We tried the Tuscan dishes centered around protein, such as the steak and duck. Both dishes were spectacular. Servers and host were attentive and fabulous. I'd recommend this to all my friends.

the ambience and service was very good. And when we ordered our food everything on the menu was very unique and everything was good. We ended up ordering the pear pasta and the tortellini was delicious. We also had a pizza with very sweet yellow cherry tomatoes and exceptional mushrooms. And the desert was above and beyond with the lemon sorbet. And the place was very good for our two kids. Overall service and building was very good, food was exceptional, and it was just purely good.

One of my favorite places in Florence! Friendly owners that welcome locals and visitors, alike, with simply and perfectly prepared pastas, pizzas, and entrees. The black truffle and porcini spaghetti "Chitarra D'Autore" was so amazing that I went twice in one week, just to order it again. I recommended Vecchio Vicolo to several groups of friends and they agreed....the food was delicious!
