Lovely clothes shop with interesting selection of clothes. Really well laid out and merchandised. The staff were friendly and dressed really smart. Its a shame about the yellow window protector stuff in one of their windows but i suppose they have no choice, its just that they've done the windows so beautifully. It is expensive but the clothes are really unique and good quality. Great little boutique worth a visit.
The clothing racks at Old Village were filled with flowing blouses, dresses and skirts of high quality. I found some business suits as well, but each with a similar laidback style.
It's not often that you find hippie-esque clothing with expensive price tags. I imagine the target clientele is hippie-gone-career-woman. Is that a thing?
The one fragrance displayed was patchouli - most commonly found in its oil/aromatherapy form, of course - now as an eau de toilette. This confirmed my suspicions. Somewhere, there are wealthy hippies.
This place is definitely not my cup of tea, but it gets three stars anyway as I can see that a certain market would love it. Think hippie art teacher comes into money, and you're about there.
There are lots of boho style (can it really be boho with these prices?) skirts and tops, all very carefully designed to be the 'right kind' of flowing. Everything feels good quality, and I think it's mostly Italian and French designer gear.
