This is a small local post office set in a quiet road with other shops nearby. It is out of the way. Normal on street parking, so at times it is easy to park and at times it is not. They sell some lovely unusual cards and other post office type stuff. When I have been in there is usually one or two lanes open, so service is reasonably good.
I know post offices are government run but they make enough money from every thing that they could look at improving service to improve sales this, is possibly the worst post office i have ever been in i actually hate the idea of going in here there services is very slow the store is very run down and every time i have asked a question i get looked at like i called them a rude name i will go to another one where ever possible.
I was pleased with their friendly service, they helped me when I needed assistance a couple of times.once they even reccomenden cheaper ways to post a big parcel and never rushed me.
compared to others I am happy overall.off course, improvment never did any harm to anyone.
I agree with Kid2000. Every time I have used this post office the staff have been dreadfully rude and unpleasant. I even got told off for filling in a "proof of posting" slip. I now avoid the place. If the government are planning to close small sub-offices, they should include this one. They don't deserve the custom.
Under the new management, this post office has completely transformed. Every time I go there, I get served with a friendly smiles. One speciality I found in there customer service is that they don't rush you up, they help you with the best of their ability even if it takes time. I agree with some negative reviews that it feels like that they are bit slow (in this fast changing world) but I myself and I know many others who don't like to be rushed up, the only time they serve in a hurry is when they have long queue. Anyway I am overall very happy with this post office and I prefer it even though it is farther than my local post office
