On a recent holiday we were treated to a trip to the quaint market town of Abergavenny whilst there I discovered a marvellous shop called Nicholls. It is a department store which stocks a range of furniture, gifts and ladies clothes.
Nicholls sell some unusual gifts along with more well known makes and have a wide range of Ainsley china in stock.
They also have a fab coffee shop in store which sells healthy lunches ,beautiful freshly made sandwiches and mouth watering cakes, ideal for a relaxing sit down
I came home with a lot of Christmas shopping and hopes of returning in the new year.

Visit Nicholls for beautiful things for you and your home !

Nicholls was founded in 1925 in Crickhowell and has three stores, Abergavenny, Brecon and Crickhowell. The stores differ in the products they sell but the common thread is quality and service. We stock a large range of outdoor & country clothing, mens & ladies fashion & footwear, jewellery, gifts and home-ware from quality brands such as Barbour, Cath Kidston, Joules, Dubarry, Aigle and many more.
At Nicholls we are passionate and creative about what we sell and strive to source products that our customers will love. The Abergavenny store has a beautiful coffee shop with an outdoor terraced area.

Established in 1925.

All about us....

Nicholls has been trading for over 80 years and is still a family business. We first opened our doors in 1925, are now in our third generation and have always been renowned for excellent service and quality. Established by William Nicholls the company originally focussed on the sale of animal feeds to the local community. A baker shop was opened and eventually replaced by an ironmongery store. William listened to the local people and his farming customers and in response began to stock more of the items that they wanted to buy. The customers respected and trusted Nicholls for being a family firm always willing to listen to their needs and determined to consistently offer the best service possible.

The passing generations have seen changes at Nicholls, the stores are ever evolving in response to our customer needs and the marketplace, yet we are still blending and selling animal feeds at our mill in Crickhowell.
