Review from Mimi L.
In San Sebastian, our first choice for accommodations was to stay in a pension in Parte Vieja (old part of town) but we were having trouble finding a nice one for our price point. So we decided to stay in the newer part of town on the other side of La Playa Concha. It was about $90USD/night. The 20-30 min walk to Parte Vieja was pleasant and refreshing before and after lots of eating and drinking.
The hotel looks new, modern, and clean. It attracts big groups on tour buses and we saw a couple sports teams. The rooms are standard and bare. Walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors, housekeeping, and activity in the hallway. Wifi was free in the lobby only for 30 minutes at a time. None of our Euro hotels had free wifi so this was fine. This hotel was fine overall and would've just been 3 stars for me.
But of the few articles of clothing we brought on our 2 week trip, the most expensive, custom made shirt was left in NH Aranzazu's closet. We didn't realize it until we were in the next city so when we got back to the US we bought a calling card to inquire whether they found the shirt. First call was unsuccessful but there was no way I was letting them get away with not finding that shirt. A few minutes later I talked to Javier Fernandez who knew of the shirt and the email I'd sent asking about it, though they never responded via email. We had to send him our mailing address and credit card info to pay for shipping, $25USD. 2 weeks later, we were elated to receive the shirt in good shape. Though we had to make a few more calls overseas, we're thankful for their good customer service.

Clean, modern and within walking distance of Parte Vieja. after looking at a lot of hotels in the city, I could not find a place this nice within the relatively low price point. Next stop in Donostia I'll be staying here again.
They also have laundry service and a restaurant on site. I didn't eat here but they did press a shirt on rather short notice.
