I have such fond memories of this shop - from going in to buy my first recorder at the age of 6, to buying flute and symphony music at the age of 18. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and seem so passionate about what they do.
There's usually an ecclectic mix of customers inside - from the classical musician, or young child starting out, to the wannabe rockers who try out the drums and electric guitar. It's such a Neath institution - long may it reign!
Quite a handy local music shop for guitars, strings, music books and accessories (including some great musical-themed gifts). It is much roomier now after the renovations and attractive both outside and in. The staff are always helpful and friendly and they can order things not found in the shop.
It's not possible to park outside because of restrictions (except perhaps for quick unloading) but it's not far from the town centre and there are two car parks just around the corner.
This place has been here for donkeys years! Recently renovated, the outside looks gorgeous now, with a wooden facade.
There's a good selection of mid-priced guitars in store, with all the accessories you would normally find.
The service is exceptionally good. My husband has used the store to restring one of his favourite guitars, and they didn't even charge him for it, as he wasn't very well at the time.
My son loves to go in and have a drool at some of the instruments there - and the staff are nice enough to encourage him with his music.
Very help full
