Impressed. Takes you back through to the origins of the game and back again to the modern era. Some great memorabilia; shirts from iconic players like Maradonna (the "Hand of God" shirt) and personal items from players thougout the history of the game. Situated under the stands of Deepdale - the world's oldest continuously used football stadium (history itself) and it allows a view onto the pitch from a small window. Well worth the visit if you're in the north of England.
A great look back over football from the beginnings to the modern day. Loads of exhibits including shirts, posters, balls and programmes. It also has a few nice interactive things like a virtual penalty shoot and TV commentating.
A must for any sports fan. Located on the top corner of the Deepdale ground. Free entry, which is an added bonus. Covers every aspect and all history of the game. On non match days plenty of parking areas. Match days parking limited.
I dont actually like football, but the tour guides obviously love it. They can actually make it sound interesting!! the people we went there with enjoyed themselves, there is a cafe and a souvenir shop and if you are lucky you can get a tour of the grounds themselves
went to this football museum with my boy friend and boy his enthusiasm was contagious. It was a really good collection of information related to Football and also had on display personal belongings of some iconic players of history.
