Since I didn't bring lunch to work today, I used that as an excuse to head all the way here and try this place. It's a little out of the way given where I am, but that isn't an excuse, at least in my book. So I put on my coat, brought my book, and headed out for an hour-and-a-half lunch break.
They have this 7 EUR 2-course lunch set menus, and for today, they were offering the tomato and bok choy salad as an appetizer, as well as a spinach and potato strudel as the main dish. There was the option to do the main dish followed by a dessert, but I figured I didn't want something sweet.
Things were quick, but then, the place wasn't full (I was there around 1:30 PM). That being said, after I came in, several other parties came in. The place had a very nice clean ambiance; I actually like the interior design of the dining room, something I personally prefer if I were to have a dining room.
The meals I got were very tasty; the bok choy salad was just the right flavor, and the spinach and potato strudel was very hearty. I have a food coma right now. One thing I wish they would change is their coffee: I ordered the Milchkaffee, and I wished it were a little bit more powerful. That being said, I liked the rest of what I saw, so I won't deduct any stars for that.
