This place has everything for a baby but its soooooo expensive , i must admitt ive only shopped here on a handfull of occations.
They have there own toilets which is great its your pregnant lol .
The shop is massive and they have a great toy selection , my daughter loves the talking tree lol .
The staff there are more then helpful but there uniforms could do with updating lol as they are sooooo old .
Ive only gave mothercare 4 out of 5 stars the star thats missing is because of the price of stuff.

Before my son was born, this was a place I was regularly visiting! Clothes by the entrance are great for babies. All in all, it has a great selection of items to complete your shopping for your newborn. It even has a little photography department "Pixi Photo" which I found quite expensive, I can take better photos of my son with my D90. I'd really avoid it because I think the photographers should up their game and take more innovative photos.

The Mothercare store at Festival Park is a large store and has plenty of choice. They carry a large amount of stock so you can normally find what you are looking for. They sell some lovely baby and children's clothes, a wide range of pushchairs and a good selection of nursery furniture. Mothercare sells pretty much everything you need for your new baby and loads of other things for older children. The only downside to the shop is the price which can sometimes be on the high side and it is worth shopping around before buying at Mothercare as you may be able to find what you want cheaper elsewhere. Their maternity range is good and some items are nice but some items can be a little old fashioned and frumpy and again it tends to be on the more expensive side.

I've only shopped here because I was given vouchers as gifts or because there's no where else (lets face it Mothercare do have the monopoly on a one stop shop for all things baby.) First off  the toilets, baby change and feeding area smell disgusting all the time (and I've had to use them a lot.) Second  I've had more bad experiences shopping here than I've had good ones. I won't bother boring you with them all but give just a few examples. I mostly find the staff unhelpful. I was measured for maternity / feeding bras and each time felt I was putting the staff out by even asking to be measured  and god knows what they were thinking when she told me what size feeding bra I need  it was three sizes to big in ever way it could have been too big if you catch my drift! I was visiting one time buying a lot of expensive goods and the till system went down. Nobody knew what they were doing and the whole rigmarole took an hour to sort! At the time I was 9 months pregnant (!) and not one member of staff asked if I wanted a seat or if I was ok! I was fuming! If it hadn't been for the fact that my card's pin no. had been accepted by the till, just as it went down, and I didn't know if the transaction had gone through or not, I would have walked out! My advice  shop online and avoid this shop if you can. ( I know feed and change baby's nappy in the car to avoid the place altogether!)
